Leslie Scott is an accomplished psychotherapist, licensed professional counseling intern and esteemed life coach. As an undergraduate, Leslie attended Depaul University in Chicago, where she earned a B.A. in Communication. Leslie then moved to Dallas to attend Southern Methodist University, where she earned her Master of Science in Counseling.

Leslie achieved excellence as a college athlete. She was a Division I softball pitcher at University of Washington and Depaul University, and participated in the Women’s College World Series. Leslie applies the many lessons she gathered through her athletic accomplishments to her work as a therapist and life coach. She inspires her clients to set healthy personal, lifestyle and relationship goals, and to realize those goals through structured self-examination and focused hard work. Leslie also has specialized training in marriage and family therapy, working with couples, individuals and adolescents.

When treating common issues such as depression and anxiety, Leslie encourages her clients to consider the many factors--some of which are not readily apparent--that tend to shape such self-limiting patterns. Leslie helps her clients examine how unresolved family issues can present various roadblocks to realizing one’s desired lifestyle, career or relationship. Utilizing CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Leslie motivates clients to better understand self-defeating tendencies of thinking, feeling and doing as they arise in the Here and Now. Leslie believes the single most essential key to unlocking a client’s full potential is the client’s genuine self-belief, open-mindedness and willingness to accept personal responsibility for one’s Life Experience.
